Systems I've shipped
that you've probably used.

Not demos. Not side projects. Production infrastructure at scale — for companies whose revenue depends on it working.

Riot Games
Infrastructure Engineer

Built and maintained Docker + Go infrastructure powering metagame systems for two of the largest live-service games on earth — League of Legends and Valorant. These systems sit in the critical path for matchmaking, player state, and game data at global scale, handling millions of concurrent sessions across multiple regions simultaneously.

Outcome: Uptime and player experience under extreme concurrency — when the system goes down, millions of players notice within seconds and the business feels it the same day.
Zwift
Game Platform Lead

Led the Game Platform team and shipped Pace Partners — the AI-driven group-ride feature that millions of subscribers organize their training around. Pace Partners became one of the most-cited reasons riders stay on a Zwift subscription, turning the product from a solo training tool into a social fitness platform. This was a 0-to-1 feature launch that required coordinating infrastructure, game engine, and product teams end-to-end.

Outcome: Retention and engagement on a subscription fitness product — the feature that turns a monthly charge into something riders renew for.
Bird
Payments Architect

Designed and architected the payments system that processed $200M+ in transactions. When Bird scaled rides 100x, the payments layer had to absorb that growth without breaking — no revenue leakage, no reconciliation failures, no outages during peak ride volume. Built for correctness and auditability at a moment when the company's financials were under close scrutiny.

Outcome: Revenue infrastructure that didn't break as the company scaled 100x — the difference between a growth story and a billing disaster.
Fortune 500 Retailer
ASPM Lead — Current Engagement

Leading Application Security Posture Management at a Fortune 500 grocery retailer — one of the largest retail operations in the country. ASPM at this scale means knowing exactly which application surfaces are exposed, which vulnerabilities are real risks versus noise, and giving security and engineering teams a unified view they can act on. Grocery retail handles payment data and personal information for tens of millions of customers.

Outcome: Protecting customer trust and reducing breach risk at retail scale — where a single incident costs eight figures and damages a brand built over decades.
